What is the REAL Academy?
REAL is an immersive leadership journey for young people who want to understand themselves more deeply, build meaningful relationships, and contribute positively to their communities.
Over the course of one inspiring week, you will join a carefully selected group of participants from different backgrounds who share a curiosity about leadership, democracy, community, and positive change. Through interactive workshops, mentoring, challenging conversations, outdoor activities, and shared experiences, you will explore what authentic leadership means and how to turn your values into meaningful action.
Whether you already have experience leading initiatives or are only beginning to discover your potential, what matters most is your willingness to learn, reflect, and contribute.

Who can apply?
Young people aged 17-25 who:
- are curious and eager to learn;
- care about their communities and the world around them;
- enjoy meeting people with different perspectives;
- are willing to challenge themselves and support others;
- can actively participate throughout the entire programme.
Previous leadership experience is not required.
What can you expect?
Throughout the week you will:
- discover your own leadership style and strengths;
- develop confidence in communicating your ideas;
- learn practical tools for navigating conflict and complexity;
- engage with experienced mentors and inspiring speakers;
- collaborate with ambitious peers from diverse backgrounds;

What makes REAL different?
REAL is built on the belief that leadership is not about status or titles – it is about character , responsibility, relationships, and service.
Rather than teaching leadership through lectures alone, we create experiences that encourage reflection, dialogue, collaboration, and real-world application. Many participants describe the friendships, mentoring relationships, and conversations as the most valuable part of the experience.

The full participation fee is 450€, which covers all costs.

REAL is intentionally small. Each year , we bring together a carefully selected group of young people who are ready to learn, contribute, and grow alongside one another.
We are not looking for applicants who already have all the answers. We are looking for people who ask thoughtful questions, care about others, and are willing to invest in their own development and in the communities they are part of.
